FAQs

What experience do you have?

I’ve spent the last six years writing professionally. After graduating with a degree in English from the University of Greenwich, I started out working as a freelance copywriter for a digital media agency who asked me to write a huge range of content, from travel posts for Monarch Airlines to press releases for MINI. After numerous work experience placements and internships, the lovely guys over at ASOS offered me a full-time position as Copywriter – yay! While I was working there, I was also doing my Masters in Journalism at Birkbeck, University of London during the evenings, and after a lot of sleepless nights, I completed my MA in 2013. I spent nearly two years at ASOS writing product copy, creative content and a lot of tweets before moving to Camden Market to be the new Digital Content Coordinator. This involved writing all the product descriptions for their new e-commerce site, blog posts, CRM email copy, the odd press release and B2B catalogue copy. Since leaving full-time work at Camden Market, I  continued to work on a freelance basis for Camden Market and brands such as Ted Baker, Emma’s Diary and Families Online. I then took up the position of Online Editor at WhatHouse?, a new homes property portal.
